I hope I am allowed to discuss a slight variant on the topic...? Please delete if not allowed.

I've been also using fb and it's a bit confounding. Four donors on there who I have had conversations with, one won't answer basic questions, one won't show a pic, and two others were funny about pics (refused to show me a pic until I had sent them 1). Then another, started going on about how hot I am, and how attracted to me he is. Flattering, but not what I'm looking for from a donor really. Any opinions anyone? X

I don't have a problem with recipients seeing and receiving my donor picture but I am wary when asked to email or send pictures of my children. I am happy to show them to recipients in person though.

Hi all,

Difficult one this.

I don't think social media is perhaps the best way to proceed in this sort of quest.

There are so many prejudiced and narrow minded individuals out there, that finding genuine people to help you is always going to be fraught with social"players", or those who just want to spite you in public (trolls etc.).

So far the only 3 people have helped have been those who meet me and know me in ordinary life rather than online.

Two were friends of friends (aged 22 and 37) , and one was a more senior lady (51) who I did odd jobs for to help her out with heavy lifting etc. as she was widowed and alone.

In the end it is up to the individuals concerned, but I for one would be very careful as a donor, not to become a victim of non genuine people trying hard to put me down in public or "report" me on social media as being different in any way, just because I choose to help some people/couples out in a personal and discreet manner.

As it is, I have sired 4 babies for 3 people, and all are happy, settled, comfortable and discreet...just as it should be.

I hope that all other genuine donors and recipients on here can get similar outcomes.

The OP is a rude woman, who breaks contact at a drop of the hat.

She has no right to complain about the behavior of others.
